Children for a Peaceful World

Peace I think is something we all want. Some people are willing to go to war for peace. Nothing all that great can come out of war. Everyone has to cooperate for there to be peace. Knowledge is power only when sheltered by a wisdom that hopes for peace. My grandpa taught me that. He also said, to earn peace of mind you must give it. Just be kinder.

“So I can be a good person and bad people will be nicer? Is that how it works?”, I said.

“Yes Kelcey, if you are kind to somebody else they will not only be kind to you but to somebody,” Grandpa would answer.

I didn’t realize it then but my Grandpa was teaching me something. He was teaching me that the ripples will continue but someone has to start them. The world’s oceans are huge so you need to start some ripples of your own then maybe someday, hopefully the sun will set on a peaceful world.
